CARPET BEETLES - Carpet beetles are scavengers that feed on a variety of natural products such as hides, hair, grains, wool and taxidermy animals. The adult carpet beetle will spend most of its life outside feeding on plants. During the warmer months they will find their way into homes through windows, open doors and screened openings. Carpet beetles will fly and can fit into any small opening. It is suspected there are certain scents or odors which attract the carpet beetle into your home.
